Android TV box maker MINIX has released new product to update its NEO series. The new comes NEO Z64 is MINIX's first Intel CPU TV box. Another new box NEO X6 with the new quad core S805 SoC(CPU). Though with new products here, the MINIX NEO X7 is still in hot sale with the special price of just $119.90.
MINIX NEO X7 is a quad core Android TV box with high specifications. The RK3188 quad core 1.8GHz processor, Mali 400 MP4 GPU and 2GB large RAM allow it a high performance. Besides, it owns 16GB ROM and uses an Android 4.2 OS. The upgrade RockChip RK3188 quad core processor uses Cortex A9 quad core architecture, with 28nm processing and 1.8GHz frequency, so it can reduce the power consumption and provide adequate performance at the same time. After upgrade quad-core processors, MINIX NEO X7 improves its memory to 2GB DDR3 which provide more powerful performance support for the system platform. MINIX NEO X7 upgrades the Android 4.2 OS and equips the MINIX operating interface. The Windows8-liked interface offers more convenience for users with the simplified operation. All the operations can be completed with the remote control.
As to the appearance, it should be say, the NEO series always has its iconic appearance, boxy, simple and openhanded. It like the previous MINIX NEO X5 and even the same as the MINIX NEO X8 quad core Android TV box which is popular now due to the new Amlogic S802 SoC.
